How far is the ocean from the house?

The Right Of Way (ROW) to the ocean is  across the street - 4 houses to the East is the private walkway over the dune line.

Is the beach public or private?

This is a private beach accessible only to residents of the Village of Westhampton Dunes.

Are pets allowed?

Yes - If you have 20 dogs or something extremely exotic we may need to talk however.

Does the house have Central Air Conditioning?

It does not have it because it is simply not needed that close to the water.  The cool breezes off the ocean in the front and bay in the back make a light evening sweater more of a possible need than air conditioning.

Are dogs allowed on the beach?

Yes they are allowed considering they are well behaved and under their owners supervision.

Does the house have beachchairs, towels, and linens? 

Yes, Yes and Yes.  Note - If you have larger crowd you may want to bring a few extra beach chairs however.

How far is it from the train station or Jitney stop to the house?

It is roughly 8 - 9 miles from both to the house.  About 10 minutes by car or cab.

How many cars can fit in the driveway?

The driveway fits 6 cars.
